Recent Problems Fixed:
1.) prior to version 3.0.0.2, the
program was bombing on the list of recently used files on Windows XP. 2.) Version
3.0.0.2 fixed this but the program couldn't be purchased from the Help menu,
About FEAview dialog. If you've had either of these problems, please re-download
the program.
The modeling capabilities of the program are free. The program must be purchased
to read and display solver outputs.

FEAview
FEAview is a finite element post-processor
and results viewer for linear static problems using MSC.Nastran. It supports
the elements, properties, materials, and loads commonly used in structures problems. It transforms
the model and solver results data into readily comprehensible 3D graphical and tabular displays.
FEAview provides a well-tested, professional quality results viewer for structures
problems. In addition to the graphical displays, FEAview always provides access to the numerical
data --whether on the 3D display or in tables. It handles composites and does a good job (as of
version 3.0) of handling grid point force balance data.
A professional quality modeler represents at least one lifetime's work. Several lifetimes
would be required, as is our case, if development is done without an industrial 3D modeling
toolkit. Our modeler is built to tessellate common curves, surfaces and volumes in hopes
that it will be of value to student users. See

FEAview imposes no limit to the problem size other
than the speed of your processor and the amount of memory
available.
